Current Workshop: Effective Mediation Advocacy
This two course Effective Mediation Advocacy workshop instructs lawyers on how to add value to their clients through the mediation process. The faculty, Robert A. Creo, Esq., addresses best practices in a highly interactive format, illustrating teaching points using examples from his experience as a neutral since 1979.
Based upon Mr. Creo’s experience, he endorses a mediation model that relies upon the tenets of engagement, authenticity, creativity and self-determination of an appropriate outcome.
In this workshop, lawyers will learn how to advocate with different mediation models and how to adapt to the various mediator styles. Practical tips on how to maximize both economic and non-economic representational goals are at the core of the lessons.
